After School Programs

Extension Programs are a vibrant and integral part of the St. Margaret’s Episcopal School community, with more than 25 years providing meaningful out-of-school time opportunities for students and families.
Rooted in the school’s mission of educating the hearts and minds of young people for lives of learning, leadership, and service, our after-school programs for students in Early School through grade 8 are designed to nurture curiosity, foster independence, and create a true love of learning in a supportive, engaging environment.

Extension Programs offer a diverse range of experiences—including Extended Day, Enrichment Classes and after-school clubs, Dance Conservatory, and Parent Night Out events—carefully designed to meet the needs of both students and working families. Through small-group settings that encourage exploration, innovation, collaboration, and connection, we provide high-quality childcare and enrichment that extends well beyond the school day.

As one Lower School parent shared, “My children absolutely love going to Extended Day, so much so that they ask to go even when it is not needed for childcare. They enjoy spending time with their friends and kids from other grades and love the staff. Knowing that my kids are so well cared for while having a great time brings peace of mind.
