6 Tartan Seniors Celebrated for Their Pursuit of the Arts in College

St. Margaret’s is proud to recognize six Upper School seniors who have committed to pursue the arts next year at an impressive list of schools.

 

The six students were honored this week at Upper School Convocation, alongside five students who committed to play intercollegiate athletics next year. Many of the students have been a part of St. Margaret’s performing arts, visual arts, and technical arts programs for a number of years, and will continue studying their specialty after their time at St. Margaret’s.

 

The students recognized were:

 

Mari Edler, who plans to attend the University of Southern California to study arts, technology and business innovation.

 

Emma Evanson, who plans to attend Brigham Young University and study media arts production.

 

Sabrina Kim, who plans to attend the Rhode Island School of Design and study industrial design.

 

Charlotte Quintanar, who plans to attend The University of Chicago and major in molecular engineering  and documentary film through the university’s STAGE program, a full-scale laboratory devoted to collaboration among scientists and artists.

 

Jordan Reder, who plans to attend the Cinema Makeup School, where she will study prosthetic makeup and the creation of special makeup effects.

 

Winston Verdult, who plans to attend New York University and study film production.
