St. Margaret’s Community Comes Together in Support of School at Forever Plaid: All Hallows’ Evening

More than 400 members of the St. Margaret’s community came together for a spooky spectacle in support of the school.
More than 400 members of the St. Margaret’s community came together for a spooky spectacle in support of the school last week, as parents, professional community, Trustees and alumni came to AV Irvine or the 2022 Forever Plaid: All Hallows’ Evening.

It was the first in-person Forever Plaid all-school fundraiser since 2019, and the energy and excitement was noticeable as attendees came together for a night of dinner, dancing and generous support of St. Margaret’s.

In the spotlight was this year’s Fund A Need, a relaunch of the Student Commons project which aligns with the school-wide focus on community and student health and wellness. By the end of the night, more than $1 million had been raised in support of the initiative.

“It was an unforgettable evening for the entire St. Margaret’s community,” Head of School Will Moseley said. “The Parent Teacher Fellowship, led by President Jessica Klausner, chair Wendy Ballard and the Forever Plaid committee, put together a wonderful event that celebrated St. Margaret’s and brought together its amazing community. We are so grateful for the generosity shown toward our school, our students and our future.”

With AV Irvine festively decorated, attendees could browse and bid on auction items, visit a fortune Tarot card reader, interact with a magician, or socialize at open tables and sections with lounge seating. Attendees enjoyed dinner and finished the night dancing to music from a 10-piece band.

“It was so great to be back in-person for Forever Plaid, and the night was everything we could have hoped for,” PTF President Jessica Klausner said. “We owe so much gratitude to event chair Wendy Ballard and the Forever Plaid committee. They worked tirelessly to bring this event to life, and the results were extraordinary. Thank you to everyone who supported this special night for St. Margaret’s.”

Forever Plaid: All Hallows’ Evening owes its success to the many generous donations from families, friends and corporate sponsors. You can view the list of volunteers, sponsors and underwriters by clicking here
