St. Margaret's picked up the non-league win Tuesday night.
St. Margaret's baseball team defeated non-league opponent Don Bosco Tech 9-2 Tuesday evening behind 15 strikeouts from pitcher Charley Gianulias. Gianulias put in 6 2/3 innings of work, allowing only one earned run.

Gianulias also contributed at the plate, going 3-for-3 with two doubles and 3 stolen bases. Els Page kept the Tartans on top, going 2-for-4 including his third home run of the season and a double. Andrew Miehe was solid, going 2-for-4 with a double and 2 RBIs.

"It was a great win with everyone seeing time and able to contribute," said head coach Scott Wallis. "A nice bounce-back win after a tough loss to Tustin on Monday."

The Tartans return to play this Thursday, April 6, facing Jordan High School at the MLB Youth Academy at Compton College.
