St. Margaret’s Parent Teacher Fellowship continued one of its longest-held and most cherished traditions last week, as the 41st Library Luncheon brought more than 420 Tartans together for friendship, generosity and celebration at the Ritz-Carlton Laguna Niguel.
The event was themed “Kaleidoscope: Reflections of a Vibrant World” which honored the diverse St. Margaret’s community. Beautifully decorated tables with creative design elements reflected the theme and the literary works that bring a diverse world closer together.
The event was organized by event chair Jade Cao and the Library Luncheon committee, which included Erin Shapiro, Lauren Sumner, Julie Weidner, Nicole Townend, Kristie Caggiano and Stephanie Hoback.
“It was a lovely day of friendship and celebration,” said PTF President Jessica Klausner. “Our Library Luncheon Chair, Jade Cao, brought the theme to life and brought us all to tears with her heartfelt words of support and acknowledgement for all members of our St. Margaret’s community. We are forever grateful to Jade, our Procurement Chair Erin Shapiro and the entire Library Luncheon Committee for working tirelessly on this beloved event.”
“The Library Luncheon is an extraordinary display of the love and commitment the Tartan community shows toward the school and its students,” Head of School Will Moseley said. “We are deeply grateful for the partnership with the PTF, and thankful for the PTF leadership, including Jessica, Jade and the Library Luncheon committee and table captains, for their vision, dedication and hard work to create such a beautiful event. The generosity that all the attendees showed toward St. Margaret’s will make an impact for years to come, and we are so thankful for their support.”
The event supported the PTF Grant Enrichment Program and St. Margaret’s Library. Attendees could browse the Library Luncheon boutique for a chance to win generously donated raffle items, as well as purchase special opportunity tickets for Lugano Diamonds earrings, or for a tuition opportunity drawing. There was also a silent auction earlier in the week with more than 100 items for supporters to bid on.
The traditional “Giving Garden” also took place, as attendees could purchase crystal butterflies, with proceeds benefiting St. Margaret’s Library.
The PTF would like to thank all of those who supported this beloved event, including donors and underwriters, parent volunteers, the St. Margaret’s professional community, and more.
