Presenting the Class of 2024! Scholars, Artists, Athletes and Leaders Heading to 72 Colleges and Universities

St. Margaret's is proud to present the Class of 2024 on the eve of their official graduation date on Saturday, June 1.
St. Margaret’s Episcopal School proudly presents the Class of 2024 on the eve of their official graduation date this Saturday, June 1. The 122 graduating seniors will matriculate to 72 colleges and universities in 29 states, as well as two universities outside the United States. 
 
This extraordinary class will take a vast array of talents with them. They are academic scholars, student-athletes, artists. They serve their community and lead their peers. Of the 122 seniors, 19 will compete in intercollegiate athletics, two will study the arts, and all of them will take their education at St. Margaret’s and be well-prepared to blaze their own unique trail into the future.
 
“On behalf of the Upper School professional community, we want to congratulate the extraordinary Class of 2024 on their graduation,” Upper School Principal Amy Roberts said. “We will never forget the mark they’ve made at St. Margaret’s. We are so proud of these students and look forward to seeing the many paths they will pursue in college and beyond. Go Tartans!”
 
Thirty-six seniors will attend college and universities in California, while 86 will head out of state to attend schools in places like New York (14), Massachusetts (9), Illinois (6), Texas (6), Oregon (5), Florida (4) and Michigan (4).
 
College choices for the Class of 2024 include Columbia University, Cornell University, Duke University, Northwestern University, Stanford University, University of California, Berkeley; University of California, Los Angeles; University of Michigan, University of Pennsylvania, University of Oregon and Wake Forest University.
 
In all, 25 schools will enroll two or more Tartans, including UCLA (7), University of Southern California (7), Syracuse University (4), The University of Chicago (4), University of Miami (4), University of San Diego (4), Boston College (3), New York University (3), Northeastern University (3) and Texas Christian University (3).
 
St. Margaret’s dedicated college counseling team helped guide each student’s decision-making process, including Director of College Counseling Amy Warren and Associate Directors of College Counseling Erica Huerta and Ben Lah. The office arranged more than 100 visits with representatives from colleges and universities around the world, in addition to one-on-one meetings with each senior, and an enhanced College Group Meeting curriculum that started during the Class of 2024’s junior year.
