St. Margaret’s Places 7th at Brophy Rodeo in a Scottsdale, Annie and Jessica Flex on Competition

The Tartans took on 19 other teams from multiple states around the Western United States this weekend at the Brophy Rodeo Invitational. Playing at the world class Grayhawk Golf Club in Scottsdale, Arizona, the Tartans finished in 7th place, placing better than a number of local California teams technically rated higher. Annie Weng was the strongest finisher for St. Margaret’s, finishing only 2 over par after 36 holes and finishing in 7th out of 99 total individuals. Team captain Jessica Liu was next, finishing only 5 over par after 36 and in 12th individually. The Tartans will take the momentum from this strong tournament finish into its first official match of the season in 2 weeks.
