Tartans Thrive Update: New Renderings, Milestones and More! 

The momentum around the Tartans Thrive capital campaign and its centerpiece, the St. Margaret’s Commons, continues to build. 
St. Margaret’s launched Tartans Thrive: Campaign for a Common Purpose one year ago, and the momentum around the capital campaign and its centerpiece, the St. Margaret’s Commons, continues to build. 
 
The demolition of Wallace Hall this summer marked an exciting step in the evolution of the school campus. Progress toward the building of the St. Margaret’s Commons at the former Wallace Hall site is continuing this fall, as the school is acquiring the necessary permits and preparing the site for groundbreaking. 
 
The building of the St. Margaret’s Commons is on schedule, and construction of the 30,000-square-foot facility is expected to start this winter. The Commons is scheduled to be completed in the fall of 2026.
 
“We are grateful for the generous support of Tartans Thrive over the past year. It’s clear that the excitement around this campaign and the St. Margaret’s Commons is shared by our entire school community,” Head of School Dr. Jeneen Graham said. “We look forward to celebrating more milestones throughout this school year, including breaking ground on this fantastic new community space this winter.”
  
St. Margaret’s is also excited to share updated renderings of the Commons, which provide the school community a sneak peek of the exterior and interior of the building and how it will fit in with the school’s beautiful 25-acre campus.
