The entire student body and professional community gathered on Chalmers Field to celebrate St. Margaret’s storied history and promising future.
In a vibrant display of Tartan spirit, St. Margaret’s celebrated its 45th anniversary this week with a birthday party for the entire student body filled with games, crafts, and delicious treats.
The entire student body and professional community gathered on Chalmers Field for an event celebrating St. Margaret’s rich history and promising future. Festivities started with a few words from Dr. Jeneen Graham, Head of School, along with Lower School students leading the happy birthday song.
Students of all ages came together to celebrate, with older students mentoring younger students as they took part in the many different activities. The celebration included cornhole competitions, creative craft stations, and interactive LEGO building areas. The excitement continued with parachute games and a football throw challenge, where enthusiastic Tartans showcased skills and cheered each other on.
St. Margaret’s opened its doors on Oct. 1, 1979, serving 79 students in kindergarten through grade 6. Today, the school is a leading college-preparatory independent school serving 1,234 students from preschool through grade 12.
