St. Margaret's Girls Tennis Tops Timberwolves

The Tartans gear up for a run at postseason success.
The Tartan girls tennis program downed Northwood High School 9-9 (73-69) Tuesday to move to 3-3 in league competition.
 
St. Margaret's won eight of nine singles sets, with Rylee Carlson and Angela Liu winning all three sets played. Kate Purprua was victorious in two of her three sets. In doubles action, Emily Guerinot and Fiona Bonilla picked up a huge win to keep the Tartans ahead for the afternoon.
 
The Tartans will next face University High School on the road on Thursday, Oct. 17.
