Tartan Girls Basketball Downs Patriots 66-57

St. Margaret's shines in non-league contest.
St. Margaret's girls basketball team defeated Christian School 66-57 in a non-league matchup in El Cajon, marking a historic evening.
 
Annika Tufo led the Tartans with 16 points and 7 rebounds, while Lila Wohlgemuth followed closely with 11 points and 6 rebounds. Taylor Francois contributed 6 points and 6 assists in the win.
 
Harper Gideons (9 points, 5 assists) made history for the Tartans, notching her 200th 3-pointer and became the program's all-time wins leader. The feats follow Gideons’ 100th point and 200th steal, recorded in the Tartans' loss against a talented Villa Park squad this past Saturday.
 
The Tartans also received support off the bench, with Tilda Curran (8 points), Ana Cormac (5 points), Marisol Bahena (3 points) and Ivy Liu (2 points) pulling St. Margaret's past the Patriots.
 
St. Margaret's, ranked No. 19 in Orange County, next take on Oaks Christian on the road on Thursday, Dec. 12.
