Tartan Community Kicks Off Holiday Season at PTF Tree Lighting Ceremony

Joy filled the air as the Tartan community cherished a holiday tradition at the annual PTF Tree Lighting Ceremony.
A cherished holiday tradition at St. Margaret’s continued last weekend, as more than 300 members of the Tartan community came together for the 17th annual PTF Tree Lighting Ceremony in the Fountain Courtyard.

Joy filled the air as the Tartan community enjoyed delicious cookies, hot chocolate, and a special visit from Santa. There was also an opportunity to write letters to Santa, complete with a special mailbox for messages to the North Pole. This year, Grade 5 Leadership handed out candy canes and helped at the ornament craft station. The traditional countdown for the lighting of the beautiful Christmas tree was led by Head of School Dr. Jeneen Graham and Lower School student.

The PTF extends special thanks to event chair Heather Nykolaychuk and all the volunteers who helped continue this cherished tradition.
