Students and chaplains shared songs, readings and prayers, and attendees enjoyed a musical performance by Tartan band, orchestra and choral students.
St. Margaret’s entire student body came together for a joyful and treasured All-School Spring Service in Pasternack Field House this week.
The annual celebration was attended by students in Early School through grade 12, in addition to professional community and many parents. Students and chaplains shared songs, readings and prayers, and attendees enjoyed a musical performance by Tartan band, orchestra and choral students.
The All-School Spring Service also marked the conclusion of the school’s annual All-School Service Learning Project. St. Margaret’s partnered with Orange County Head Start this year, and the school community came together in preparation to build gardens at each of Head Start’s San Juan Capistrano locations. In addition, the school community organized a month-long drive for supplies and educational materials to supplement the planned gardens. The All-School Spring Service concluded with Head of School Dr. Jeneen Graham offering a special prayer for the Class of 2024 as they prepare for their final weeks at St. Margaret’s.
“Give them courage and joy; give strength to encounter what is to come, and bless them in all their endeavors,” Dr. Graham said. “May they be beacons of hope as they share the spirit of St. Margaret’s in everything they do.”
