PHOTOS: PTF Library Luncheon Brings Tartan Community Together for 42nd Year

One of the St. Margaret’s community’s most beloved and longstanding traditions continued last week at the Ritz-Carlton Laguna Niguel, as the 42^nd PTF Library Luncheon brought together more than 380 supporters of St. Margaret’s Episcopal School.  

 

The event highlights the creativity and vision of the school community as beautifully decorated tables reflected this year’s theme “How Does Your Garden Grow?” with many tables inspired by literary works such as The Secret Garden, The Tale of Peter Rabbit, Planting a Rainbow and The Language of Flowers. Some of the tables celebrated special groups of parents, including a senior parent table, a grade 5 parent table and a table for parents of alumni.

 

The Library Luncheon was organized by event chair Anastassia Steele and the Library Luncheon committee, which included Maxine Laube, Winnie Wen, Kelly Ellner, Blanca Shidla, Tracy Robertson and Jae Choi.

 

“It was wonderful having the Tartan community together for such a beautiful day,” PTF President Crista Martin said. “Anastassia and the Library Luncheon Committee did an amazing job bringing this cherished St. Margaret’s tradition to life for its 42^nd year. The day was the result of so much love and hard work by so many people, and I’m thankful for those efforts and for all who attended and supported this special event!”

 

“Thank you to the PTF for its unwavering commitment to St. Margaret’s and its students,” Head of School Dr. Jeneen Graham said. “The Library Luncheon is always an extraordinary event, and it was so special to have the community together for this annual springtime tradition. I’m grateful for the PTF leadership, including Crista, Anastassia and the Library Luncheon committee and table captains for their hard work, vision and creativity. It was an unforgettable event and we are so thankful to everyone who took part.” 

 

The event supported the PTF Grant Enrichment Program and St. Margaret’s Library. Attendees could browse the Library Luncheon boutique for a chance to win generously donated raffle items, as well as purchase special opportunity tickets for Lugano Diamonds earrings, or for a tuition opportunity drawing. In addition, a traditional “Giving Garden” offered attendees a chance to write a special message to be displayed on a giving tree at the event.
