Wallace Hall Demolished in Preparation for Transformational St. Margaret’s Commons

After years of planning and with the backing of many generous supporters in the Tartan community, the next step in the exciting evolution of St. Margaret’s campus is here. This month, crews have been hard at work demolishing Wallace Hall in anticipation of the planned St. Margaret’s Commons. 

 

Within the construction fencing raised around the site, excavators have carefully torn down the building and cleared out the space, following hard work in June to relocate the weight room, sports medicine space, classrooms and offices housed in Wallace Hall.  

 

It is an important and exciting milestone in the Tartans Thrive capital campaign, the centerpiece of which is the St. Margaret’s Commons. The 30,000-square-foot facility will serve all Tartans in their nutrition, fitness and well-being and will be a gathering space for the entire school community. It is scheduled to be completed in 2026.
