Girls Tennis Washes Out Breakers 10-8
The Tartans finished league competition with a 4-4 record.
St. Margaret's girls tennis program closed out league play with a 10-8 win over visiting Laguna Beach High School on Thursday afternoon.
The Tartans picked up two wins each from Angela Liu, Kate Purpura, and Rylee Carlson, as well as the doubles teams of Allie Dandel/Ellie Pooler and Caitlin Roberts/Emily Kim.
"It was a great win on Senior Day for our team," head coach Scott Lipsky said. "We played our best match of the season overall, and as we head towards playoffs, that is all I can ask for. The girls have risen to the challenge of competing in this league, and I am excited to see how we can fare in the postseason."
Oct. 29 marks the start of the League Individual Tournament, slated to be held at Irvine High School.
