Lower School Celebrates St. Margaret's Beloved Tradition of Lessons and Carols

Lessons and Carols is one of St. Margaret’s oldest traditions started in the school’s first year in December 1979.
The Lower School had its 46th Christmas celebration of Lessons and Carols with services on Wednesday and Thursday in the Chapel.

Lessons and Carols is one of St. Margaret’s oldest traditions started in the school’s first year in December 1979. The program began as an opportunity for students, parents and the St. Margaret’s Episcopal Church community to celebrate together through the retelling of the Christmas story.

Beloved songs such as O Come, O Come Emmanuel, O Little Town of Bethlehem and O Come All Ye Faithful filled the Chapel. The service also included Bible readings, popular carols and melodious musical performances.

Enjoy the photos from both services!
