PTF Tartan Family BBQ Brings Community Together for Fun Evening—See the Photos!
The annual PTF Tartan Family BBQ welcomed students, parents, professional community and Tartan supporters to Chalmers Field.
The St. Margaret’s community came together for a Friday evening of fun and friendship, as the annual PTF Tartan Family BBQ welcomed more than 1,000 students, parents, professional community and Tartan supporters to Chalmers Field.
The attendees enjoyed fun and games, live music, food from Bad to the Bone, and ice cream from Handels.
All across Chalmers Field, students and families came together to play a variety of tailgate games like cornhole, gaga ball, soccer and hula hooping. There were tables for temporary tattoos, and opportunities to purchase Tartan gear from the spirit cart or buy customizable Tartan sweatshirts as a fundraiser for Tartans Thrive.
In anticipation of the upcoming St. Margaret’s Commons, attendees could also try a number of activities and technologies planned for the new campus centerpiece. That included a golf simulator, laser timers for speed training, compression leggings for recovery and more.
At the end of the event, attendees made their way to Tartan Field to watch an exciting football game between St. Margaret’s and Laguna Hills.
St. Margaret’s is grateful for the hard work of the Parent Teacher Felowship, notably PTF president Tania Robertson and Tartan Family BBQ chair Kari De Vries, for making this event such a fun fall tradition at St. Margaret’s.
