St. Margaret's CIF Championship Teams Honored by San Juan Capistrano City Council

The City of San Juan Capistrano recognized and celebrated St. Margaret’s three CIF championship teams from the 2023-2024 school year during this week’s City Council meeting.
The City of San Juan Capistrano recognized and celebrated St. Margaret’s three CIF championship teams from the 2023-2024 school year during this week’s City Council meeting.
 
The Tartan championship teams recognized were:
 
Girls cross country, which won the CIF Div. V championship last year for its third championship in five years.
 
Boys lacrosse, which won the CIF Div. I championship in a thrilling win over Loyola in May.
 
Boys volleyball, which won the CIF Div. III championship in May for its second championship in three years.
 
The teams were recognized with remarks by San Juan Capistrano Mayor Sergio Farias and a presentation of certificates to each of the St. Margaret’s student-athletes and coaches. Parents, siblings, friends and members of the San Juan Capistrano community were in attendance to celebrate with the Tartans.
