Tartan Girls Volleyball Battles For 3-2 Win

St. Margaret's bounced back against the Tritons Tuesday.
St. Margaret's girls volleyball picked up a non-league win Tuesday, defeating Pacifica Christian Orange County 3-2 on the road.

The Tartans needed five sets to put away the Tritons, with Ella Massoudi (25 kills) and Sami Duran (14 kills) leading the way. Arianne Bruckner and Chloe Wainwright supported with 8 kills each. St. Margaret's continued its strong serving efficiency with 94% in Tuesday's win.

"Pacifica Christian made a strong home court effort, and I was pleased with the way we battled back and continued to fight despite several challenges," said head coach Bob Yoder.  "Our effort and focus in the 5th set was the best of the evening, leading to the eventual win."

The Tartans return to league competition at Northwood on Thursday, Oct. 3.
