Tartans Sweep Irvine on Senior Night

St. Margaret's girls volleyball improved to 4-1 in league play.
St. Margaret's girls volleyball program got a boost from its veterans on senior night, defeating Irvine High School 3-0 at home Tuesday evening.
 
The Tartans were led by seniors Amaya Christensen (4 kills) and Carly Hermann (14 digs, 2.0 passing), stymying the Vaqueros all night. St. Margaret's notched a season-high efficiency of just over 97% with 16 aces against 2 service errors. Sarah MacDonald led the precision serving, with a total of 8 aces, no errors and accounting for 35 of the total 75 team serves (about 47%).
 
The Tartans return to play on Thursday, October 10, facing Laguna Beach at home.
